love you always

We little knew that morning that God was going to all your name,
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

Our love as always xx

I know you cry
every single day
and I was still there
you constantly pray

I am with you
when you wake in the morn
and your heart is still broken
shattered and torn

I watch with pride
as you put on your mask
the one that gets you through
your public task
when people ask 'how are you today'
'I'm getting there' I hear you say

I still see though
when you close your door
every emotion and hurt
is so painfully sore

I touch your face
and help you to try and regain
your beautiful smile
please don't be in pain

I walk with you
into dreamland at night
I take hold of your hand
and together we take flight

I want you to know
wherever you go or whatever you do
I AM ETERNALLY NEARBY
AND FOREVER CLOSE TO YOU

REST IN PEACE HERO XXXXXXX

a wee tribute, Bothers in Arms

to all those who new mark, what a top bloke. i had the honour and the privilege to serve with him in 7 Signal regt, Germany. When i recently received my Afhgan medal there was someone missing from the parade and that was Mark. i know this time of year must be tough, no doubt he would have a few drinks this time of year, but he could sometimes not handle it "falling off bar stools springs to mind" alone with i quote " i love you guys" in a few drunken states i remember him in. Mark was a good lad a real honest one too. We will always remember him. Daz b
